Hope House is a stately 1900 stone villa in the dress circle of Clare, offering a rare combination of heritage character, serious comfort and genuine connection to one of the Clare Valley’s most storied wine families.

Built of solid local stone with high ceilings throughout, this three-bedroom home has been thoughtfully appointed for guests who want to eat well, sleep well and explore one of South Australia’s finest wine regions. The enormous sun-drenched living area flows through to a fully equipped chef’s kitchen and out onto an all-weather entertainment deck. A combustion wood heater warms the evenings and can be directed to heat the bedrooms overnight. A wraparound return verandah, outdoor fire pit and private backyard complete the picture.

A breakfast provisions pack is stocked in the kitchen on arrival, along with a complimentary bottle of Pikes wine. Clare’s restaurants and cafes are a five-minute walk away, and the Riesling Trail a short drive or cycle.
